We are honored to share that BlackTruck Media + Marketing has been recognized by TechBehemoths among the top search marketing agencies in the United States. Our founder, Jason Dodge, sat down with their team for a short interview to share more about the agency’s background, how we think about search and paid media right now, and where we see things heading in 2026 and beyond.

We want to use this space for a bit of context on why this particular recognition matters to us and who really earned it.

TechBehemoths recognizes BlackTruck Media + Marketing as a top U.S. search marketing agency.

Why this one counts?

There’s no shortage of “best of” lists in marketing. A lot of them involve a sponsorship check, a submission fee, or a press release dressed up as onjectivity.

TechBehemoths approach is different. Their platform tracks more than 54,000 companies globally, and only about 3.5% of them make the cut to earn an award. Half the result is community voting, with the other half as a full jury evaluating verified client reviews, delivery history, service-specific expertise, and long-term consistency across the board. No fly by night popularity or self-proclaimed listicles here.

Put it plainly, it’s earned, not bought. That’s the part we care about.

Recognition like this matters because it’s external validation from outside your own market. It’s not something we chased. It’s something we earned by doing good work consistently.” – Jason Dodge, Founder & CEO

How does this reflect our search marketing work?

In the interview, Jason talks through the deliberate choice to stay a speciality agency instead of a full-service one. That one decision shapes everything downstream. Who we take on as clients, how our team is comprised, how projects are staffed, and why the person on the strategic call is also the person involved in the work. If you want the longer version of that thinking, the interview is the place to go.

What we’ll add here is the result. Some of our client relationships have run more than a decade. A lot of what we do isn’t just running campaigns, it’s building the infrastructure that makes campaigns perform in the first place. We’re trusted by brands because the work holds up, not because we talked about it loudly.

Giving credit where it belongs

Any recognition that lands on our desk is really about two groups of people that make it all come together.

First, our clients. The ones who trust us with the complicated problems, stick with us through algorithm updates and channel shifts, and expect us to keep getting sharper. Some of you reading this have been with us longer than most marketing tools have existed. And none of this exists without you.

Second, the talented team here at BlackTruck. The individuals going through the data in site analysis and campaign audits, developing strategies, operating campaigns, digging into GA4 data, to help brands move forward in an ever-changing landscape. Every acknowledgement of the agency is a reflection of the work our team ships every day.

Advice for the future

Toward the end of the interview, Jason’s advice to companies that want to stand out was twofold: Pick a lane and go deep in it, and publish what you know.

Consider this post as us taking our own advice.
